How to Choose the Right Label Material for Your Product

Choosing the right material is the single most important decision when ordering custom labels. The best design in the world won't help if your label peels off in the fridge or smudges when it gets wet.

1. Paper labels

Paper is the most affordable option and gives a crisp, classic look. It's perfect for dry products such as boxes, candles, stationery and gift packaging. Add a gloss or matte laminate for extra protection.

2. Vinyl and BOPP labels

If your product will be exposed to water, oil, condensation or handling, choose vinyl or BOPP (a durable polypropylene film). These are ideal for beverages, sauces, cosmetics, bath products and anything stored in the fridge.

3. Kraft labels

Kraft paper has a natural, earthy texture that signals handmade, organic and eco-friendly values. Bakeries, coffee roasters and artisanal food brands love it.

4. Clear labels

Clear labels create a premium "printed directly on the bottle" effect. We can add a white ink layer under your design so colours stay vibrant on glass.
